Examination Light

DR MACH LED 130F

This light will be used illumination during delivery, minor surgical procedures and general examination of patients.

The examination light uses a single bulb.

• The bulb is energy efficient equivalent to 120W/240V frost type and should have a life of at least 3,000 hours. LED bulb will be an advantage
• the reflector is high polished aluminum or stainless steel with diameter not less than 24cm
• The bulb receptacle is the screw or pin type
• The light generated by the bulb is in the range of 3,500 to 5,500 K color-temperature range.
• Energy efficient and not generate heat

The field size is no less than 50 cm at 1m distance.

The focal length is no less than 70 cm.

The illumination level is no less than 50,000 lux at 1 meter.

The examination light rotates 360° from a fixed point.

The examination light is on a mobile stand with goose neck arm

The stand is height adjustable and mounted on a supporting base

The arm is less than 50cm and the overall height not less than 170cm

Casters

• The casters has a minimum diameter of 12.5 cm (5 in).
• Two casters should have locks.
• If the casters are equipped with locks, they should be able to maintain the device stationary on a 10⁰ incline.
• The casters are conductive and should swivel.
• Maneuvering the unit requires minimal physical effort.

Stability

• The unit resists tipping over during use and transport.

The supply includes 2 sets of spare bulbs

Environmental factors

The unit is capable of being stored continuously in ambient temperature of 18⁰C to 50 ⁰C and relative humidity of 15-95%

Meets IEC-60601-1-2: 2001 or equivalent for General Requirements of Safety for Electromagnetic Compatibility.

The unit is capable of operating continuously in ambient temperature of 18⁰C to 40 ⁰C and relative humidity of 15-95%

Power supply

The unit operates satisfactorily on power input of 220-240VAC, 50Hz with tolerance of ±20%

Where necessary, a suitable Servo controlled Stabilizer should be provided to protect the unit against power fluctuation

The unit is fitted with a resettable over current breaker for protection for protection against sudden power surge

The unit  is fitted with appropriate cable length not less than 3m and fitted with a British Standard plug top

Where necessary, a suitable UPS with maintenance free batteries for minimum one three back up should be supplied with the system.

Standards and Safety

Certified to be compliant with appropriate IEC60601.2.12-01 Medical Electrical Equipment as well as the particular requirements for the unit

FDA or CE approved product. Where FDA approval applies, the power supply should be compatible with input voltage of 220 to 240V AC without external step down transformer required

Certified to be compliant with applicable ISO standards for the unit

Meets IEC 529 Level 3 (IP3X) (spraying water) for enclosure protection, water ingress.

Has the necessary equipments recommended by the manufacturer to carry out preventive maintenance test as per guidelines provided in the service/maintenance manual.

The unit is provided with a comprehensive warranty for 2 years minimum.

The equipment is supplied with a certificate of calibration and inspection from factory as well as independent certification body

List of tools and equipments required for providing calibration and routine maintenance as per manufacturer documentation in service / technical manual.

User Manual in English

Service/maintenance manual with detailed information for servicing, troubleshooting and repairs

A logbook with checklist for daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly maintenance should be provided

List of important spare parts and accessories with their part numbers and costing must be provided.
